Boho Ojai Wedding

Alex & Billy’s engagement session was a dream. ↠↠ And then came their Boho Ojai, California wedding.

I’ll always remember their Ojai wedding for their fierce love for one another, the bohemian details and vibes & their deep appreciation for Classic Rock (as exemplified by the MOST fun reception!)

I’m passionate about honoring genuine bonds, documenting pretty little things that represent something sooo much bigger, and (of course) singing my heart out to Led Zepplin. In many ways, photographing Alex + Billy’s Boho wedding in Ojai felt like second nature to me.

There were many, but my all-time favorite aspects from their ceremony included Alex’s Grace Loves Lace wedding dress, their Boho alter 🤩, their intimate vows, and the very FUNNY/very FAKE ring Alex placed on Billy’s finger as a small prank. There is something so beautiful about couples who can both cry and laugh together– at the same time.

I also thought it was really special how many of Alex + Billy’s friends and family members served a role in their wedding– from music, planning, flowers, hair & make-up, to officiating.

It was definitely a special time for all!!!

Alex wrote in her questionnaire when booking with me, “I feel a lot of love for him just watching him do daily tasks. I always admire him and how he navigates through life.” In every way, this kind of love was on full display at their Boho Ojai, California wedding.

She continued, “The first night we hung out, Billy told me, ‘You’re it,’ and we were inseparable since.”

I truly loved this couple, I loved the fun we had at their engagement session, and I loved their gorgeous Boho Ojai Wedding.
