A Desert Destination Engagement Session
Chelsey and Damon came all the way from their current home in Nebraska to use the gorgeous New Mexico desert for their destination engagement session. During sessions, I make it a goal to get some genuine laughs out of my couples but things were a little backwards this time. I think I laughed more than these two did! Chelsey is SO funny and Damon compliments her humor perfectly. This duo had me dying the entire time — my cheeks hurt when I got home from all the smiling!
A Love Story
“Chelsey and I were friends in undergrad and had drifted apart later in school. I was living in Chicago after graduation and Chelsey was in town to visit my roommate who is a mutual friend. I joined them one evening to go out. Seeing her there in Chicago I got butterflies. I had one of those feelings where you just kind of know. So after convincing her to drink fireball (she’s allergic to cinnamon) and dance at a country bar with me (she doesn’t like to two step) I said goodbye to the group. I was walking home desperately checking through my phone to make sure I had her number. The next morning I made sure to text her (after waiting a reasonable amount of time) and she has been in my life ever since!” – Damon
Memories
“Thinking back on our first camping trip together always makes me smile. From chasing down a feral pug, to taking paddle boarding lessons and being “attacked” by wolves (I used the word attacked loosely here), we spent the weekend laughing. I love memories like this with Damon because even when things are conventionally a disaster, he always turns them into a good time.” -Chelsey
“One of my favorite memories is our first road trip together. We went to Laramie, Wyoming and Denver, Colorado. We had a great time exploring Laramie, wandering around Denver, and seeing a Broncos game. I remember thinking to myself how much I enjoyed exploring new things with her. We were walking through downtown Denver and were just chatting and looking for a place to eat. I just got a feeling that I didn’t want to see my life without her. I later proposed there for that reason.
We even got a chance to extend the trip when the roads were so bad and we spent the night in Pueblo, Colorado. The whole trip showed me that when things get bad, I can make the best of them with Chelsey. And when things are going great, they are even better because she is around.” -Damon

Perhaps is Mr. Willie Martinez the first one to post on this page…if so, then I must be poetic. The pictures of this young couple, both of whom I know, one since near a baby she was, reminds me that all that’s wonderful to be aspire for in heaven, IS ACTUALLY FOUND ON EARTH. Cherish these photos years passed your wedding time, as for love has no time restriction nor ceases to be after our time passes. God bless you my dearest. Willie & Camille
Willie, you were the first comment! Thanks for sharing your poetic advice!
