A Glacier Park Engagement Session
I was incredibly excited when I found out Mikaila and Kyle wanted their engagement session done in Glacier National Park! I’ve been there many times during the summer but never during the offseason. Late fall in Glacier is just stunning with all of its snow-capped peaks. Mikaila and Kyle are new to Montana but adjusting just fine to the different pace of life. In California where they used to live, Kyle proposed to Mikaila on the beach — quite the opposite from the frosty mountain air! Their love is just so sweet, and I can’t wait for the mountain top wedding next June!

The Proposal
“As far as the proposal goes, I can tell you I was very surprised…he did a great job at keeping it under wraps. Especially with our very large families. He had met with his mom, my mom, and my stepmom at the coffee shop and he told them about his plan, which was to get all our friends and families together on the beach with a very large banner. He somehow convinced me to go take a little walk on the cliffs before we went to dinner and when we rounded the corner and I looked down at the beach, I saw everyone I knew holding the banner up that said, “Mikaila, will you marry me?” Everyone laughs at the fact that I waved at them when I first saw it. Next thing I know, I turn to him and he’s pulling the ring out of his pocket and getting down on one knee.Afterwards, everyone went to my dad’s house for a surprise engagement party…it was the perfect day! We were really lucky too because everyone thought the tide would be high and it would be foggy, which wouldn’t have allowed for any of it to work out and what do you know, it was a beautiful sunset with a perfect low tide.”
