An Intimate Inn of the Turquoise Bear Wedding

“For Laura’s wedding day.” These four words were written on a bottle of wine shared shortly after the ceremony between Laura, Steven, and other family members. Understanding the significance of this moment means, in many ways, understanding who Laura and Steven are and why their love has such a solid foundation. The wine was a gift from Laura’s father who passed away more than a decade ago — right around the time when Steven came into her life. The timing of these events fused their bond and love took root in their hearts. That love was on display from the beginning of the ceremony until last dance by the fireplace.

The entire family spent the weekend at the Inn of the Turquoise Bear, which is also where the ceremony was held. The inn is famed for its guest list over the years, which has included the likes of Robert Frost and Georgia O’Keeffe, to name a few. This made it a perfect location for the two creative minds of Laura and Steven!

From tears of remembrance to laughs during the “speech, toast, and roast,” everyone came away from the weekend of celebration with moments they will never forget.
