A Stormy Joshua Tree Engagement Session

I’m going to be honest. The conditions for this shoot were miserable. Somehow, despite the freakishly cold temps, the piercing wind, and THE ACTUAL WATER COMING DOWN FROM THE SKY, these two made this shoot look like it was just a normal day in J Tree. They kept their attitudes positive, worked with any windows of dryness I could find in the weather report (including waking up at the crack of dawn!), and just generally looked amazing! With given such a tough day, I don’t know how they kept their positive, happy-go-lucky vibes and made their Joshua Tree engagement session so fantastic!

A Joshua Tree engagement session is usually filled with warm rays of sunshine and overwhelming heat –so I’m going to consider us lucky because we got something UNIQUE 😉 This shoot was also a little different for me because it was during sunrise instead of sunset! I’m not much of a morning person 😅 so this is only like my second or third morning shoot in the almost decade I’ve been doing this! As my schedule gets busier though, I may need to take on a few more of these early shooting days!!
